Effectiveness Rating measures a team’s effectiveness on one side of the ball on a scale from 1-10. This metric focuses on process instead of results and quantifies how well a team performs independent of statistics and variance.
Adjusted Rating represents the difference between a team’s Eff Rating and the opponent’s average Eff. Rating allowed on the season for a more meaningful measure of performance that factors strength of opponent. Most numbers fall within the range of -2.00 (much worse than average) to +2.00 (much better than average).
